About Chris

Chris McCabe is a lifelong resident of the Capital Region, growing up in Watervliet, attending Hudson Valley Community College before settling in Colonie for the last 30 years. He is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with over 17+ years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a unique ability to connect clients with the right home, sell homes quickly, and has many repeat clients and their families for generations.

He is a devoted family man, married to wife Samantha for 28 years, and a proud father to Julianna, 24, and Olivia, 19. In his free time, he enjoys unwinding on the golf course, being home with family and friends, and traveling.

Chris is a multi-year recipient of the Women’s Council of Realtors Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the field. Additionally, he has previously served as the Vice President of the Latham Ridge PTA for 5 years and currently hold a position of board member at the Watervliet Civic Center and the Colonie Senior Service Center, supporting educational initiatives and community engagement for our youth and seniors.

He also has supported the Real Men Wear Pink Breast Cancer campaign, Sleep in Heavenly Peace Program to build beds for children in need, coordinated adding accessible swings to Watervliet park playgrounds, has given out hundreds of holiday meals to needy families, and donates to local organizations too numerous to count.

Chris is a retired Watervliet police officer and former Albany County Sheriff correctional officer and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to protecting the community.
